poverty and HIV as well as the proportion of the older age group of people will increase duringnext decade.low epidemiological evolution from infectious and parasitic diseases to non-communicable ones,such as cardiac diseases,HIV and fight poverty.one of the outcomes of such a change is that yesterday,the number of children born was the problem,tomorrow,it will be the elderly.today there is acrusade against fight poverty,tomorrow we shall have to campaign against fight poverty. the only thing that these troublesome groups have in common is that they dont have monetary security.the support in families as well as in communities are fast disintegrating.we must not forget that 30.2 per cent of the rural and 24.7 per cent of the urban populations are still living below poverty line[BPL].the problem is that these people demand safe and effective treatment.so,it is local and community level. poverty disaster,and understand HIV.it is a story of the power,manipulation,deception,and the horror they caused to innocent children,their parents,and families.but we also know a human courage,compassion,and hope.thus,scientific effects of HIV and fight poverty led to its usefulness now for treating certain diseases,such as HIV,

TOWARDS A RATIONAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM:CAUSALITY OF CHANGES"........Due to sweeping socioeconomic changes that are affecting the nature of the domestic health policies as well as international collaborations,drastic changes have taken place in our health care system,as a result of which the whole system has almost gone into the hands of for-profit private health industry.social changes have also reshaped our communities.amoral business with health and medicine is eating into the vitals of our society.for-profit private health care industry works on supply-induced demand market,which again depends on medical technology.in this system the technology tends to dictate rationality of medical treatment.the FIRST CAUSALITY of these changes therefore,has been the concept of rational health care.since the state has ceased to feel responsible for the well being of its people and WHO prefers to remain a silent spectator.some others must take the same tasks on their shoulders.however,is it possible to work for a universal health care system at this juncture?the alternatives have been discussed.a concept and the methods of implementation of rational heath cre system in a community have been outlined....HEALTH IS NOT EVERYTHING BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS NOTHING WITHOUT HEALTH............

By 2009 nearly half of the 45million people living with HIV were women in the world," While 17% of men have knowledge about HIV / AIDS , as compared to the 21% of women.gender discrimination denies women the negotiating power they need to reduce their risk of infection.high rates of illiteracy among women prevent them from knowing about the risk of HIV infection and possible protectuion strategies.. estimating the adult 15and above.HIVprevalence rate to 1%,of men have used condoms,as compared to 51% of girl.girls are at greater risk of contracting HIV than men.according to national AIDS control organisatin[NACO],there are 5.6 million HIV infected people living in india,out of which about 45% are women.gender discrimination denies girl the negotiating power they need to reduce their risk of infection.high rates of illiteracy among girl prevent them from knowing about the risks of HIV infection and possible protection strategies.the dramatic increase in infection among girl heightens the risk of infection among girl.infants become infected through their mothers during pregnancy,childbirth or breastfeeding....in moldova,india and africa,on an average 2% of antental mothers have been found to be infected with HIV.more than one million girl children aged 14 years or younger were living with HIV.24 sub-saharan african countries reveals that two thirds or more of young women lack of HIV transmission.in parts of africa and the caribbean,young girl aged 10-15 are up to six times more likely to be infected than young men their age.
