The story of Elena and her family truly touched my heart! Elena was such a strong little girl! Her parents and little sister were so supportive as she tried to fight this vicious disease! My heart goes out to her family. Thank you for sharing your story, and allowing me to learn some valuable lessons!

Very touching indeed! As a mother of two I know every child is a gift of God. Pediatric cancer must get cured. We need to do more research and prevent similar tragedies. May God give strength to the parents to handle the terrible loss.

As a grasmother of7 I abhor the atrocities agianst children and support all efforts to protect the children. Cancer is one of the worst which has not yet been stopped. WE NEED A CURE NOW!

I've just finished reading this book a minute ago and logged on the Internet trying to know more about this brave girl and her family. I myself have two daughters, too. I tried to hold my tears back while reading and kissed my two little girls more. Thank you, Elena, Grace and Mr. and Mrs. Desserich. It is you and your love that reminds me that there are many more we should cherish in our life. And "love" is what I will keep trying to show more every day from now on.
