I believe it was Will Rogers who said, "I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy."

Maybe it will make this important Constitutional Right that we all as Americans have and some have died for a little closer to home.

because i have been there...worn the badge.....and arrived, sadly, moments too late!!

I believe it is everyones right to bear arms to protect and defend their family..someone wrote that non-violent felony offenders should also be allowed-I disagree..A felony means more than beating someone up etc''I believe we should all have to go thru a thorough screening to get a gun...we have to go thru a road test to get a license...also with boats..why when a gun which can kill should not have to go thru the same tests..Glad I wasn't with Cheney when he decided to shoot! did he take a test..A felon could be someone who stole cars..if you left a gun in your car and it was stolen what would happen if this Non-violent person found it and was caught..

Everyone has to realize that no matter what or where Law Enforcement is almost always reactive. Be prepared for you and your family and the Second amendment is OUR Constitutional right!!!!

You are responsible for your own life..You are the only person there when you're being attacked..You have the God given right to protect your life..Yes, you have the right to carry a gun, pull it out and defend your life..

police do not prevent crime from happening...they displace it, respond to it, investigate it, and record it ,,,and sometimes deter..but NOT PREVENT

I think this picture wraps up our need for gun rights in america. In a perfect country guns would be for hunting, but in this time and day we are far from perfect and the need to own is rising as the economy keeps failing.

I think everyone Should be able to own posses and carry a gun, Even none-violent Felons should be able to do so. The Right to bare arms was givin to us to protect the citizens of the country in the event some crazy politicizations decided to become commies and overthrow the country, allowing us to defend ourselves from others and remain a free country.

Police, minutes away... HA try 3.5 hours. Law enforcement personnel are ONLY there to comfort VICTIMS!. The cop didn't know it but when he finally showed up... I had a bead on him as I wasn't sure if it was the bad guy coming back or not. He was lucky his car has the 'reflective lettering' else it may have been a different ending for both of us. Part of my safety training is not to fire until your target identity is confirmed.
